Polynesian / Japanese Arm Sleeve Tattoo
Wednesday, June 16, 2010
A few weeks ago I had a customer and new friend, Jeremy Wells, fly out from Saint Louis to get a fullsleeve tattoo. Jeremy is a world traveler so a few hours on a plane to get some ink and memories that will last a life time was no big deal for him. He contacted me a few months back and showed me some pictures of some Polynesian tattoo work and Japanese wave tattoo he had already got done while serving in the military overseas.
We collaborated on a few ideas and talked about how we could bring his existing work into a full Japanese/ Polynesian style tattoo. This was definitely a strange combo but I was up for the challenge.
I suggested we turn the positive part of the Polynesian tattoo into the negative and give it a sort of ancient ruins look. We brought some of that color work down his arm for dynamic flow and created some Japanese influenced designs around his whole arm. Some lotus flowers, samurai, geisha and koi to create a one of a kind piece.
This was a tough project but I believe we came up with a good solution. I'm just glad his other arm is completely clean and ready for Ink. Jeremy should be out here again soon to get the other arm done. Six days of work and forty something hours later and Mr. Well's walked out a new man.
Have a look at these pictures and development videos I put together to give you an idea what we both endured in such a short period of time. I would like to point out that getting a sleeve in this amount of time is unusual. However, it can be done if you are willing and in good health and mental state. Hats off to Jeremy.
If you would like to fly in for a custom designed piece of art please contact me here and we'll work out a project just for you.

Referring to one pair of sneakers, we have to think over their capacity. It is no exaggeration to say that cool grey 11 is the most suitable for wearing casually and playing basketball, jordan 11 cool grey were eventually released in 2001 and re-retro'd in 2009 with the nickname "jordan space jams". Another version of the XI's were released on December 23, 2010 called the "jordan cool grey".the jordan cool grey 11 has very strong ground control. which is also one of the best capacity with perfectly understandable.
